Dining

Brian's June LakeTHE CARSON PEAK INN

Walk across the street from the Yosemite Gateway Chalet to the best service in town.

SILVER LAKE RESORT (Summertime)

The best breakfast in town.  Get there early to avoid waiting for a table.

EAGLE’S LANDING RESTAURANT

The Eagle’s Landing, just 2 minutes down-canyon by car, offers guests spectacular mountain and waterfall views from every seat in the restaurant.  The Landing is open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.  We  recommend their breakfasts.

WHOA NELLIE DELI (Summertime)

This is, hands down, the best restaurant between June Lake and the Nevada border.  Just off Highway 395, on State Route 120 which leads to Yosemite (Tioga Pass).  Despite being located in a Mobile station, the food is remarkably refined.  Expect big crowds, especially during the concerts on Thursday nights.

It is located at the intersection of highways 120 and 395, just before you get into Lee Vining.

TIGER BAR

Soak in the local culture in an establishment that has one of the oldest liquor licenses in the Golden State. Terry the bartender can tell you stories of his summer working on a pig farm while cheesy music emanates from the juke box.  Scoot down the bar to the area near the pool table to chat with the locals.

June Lakers usually drink at the Tiger and eat at the Sierra Inn.  If you decide to deviate from this path, beware the Tiger beans.
