Yosemite Gateway Chalet Offers Lodging near Yosemite and June Lake

Yosemite Gateway Chalet

The Yosemite Gateway Chalet in June Lake is one of the nicest venues you can rent in the Eastern Sierra.  You can experience all the beauty of Yosemite National Park in relative solitude.  Whether you want to hike out the backdoor into pristine wilderness, or simply unwind with your friends and family in the luxury of a giant log cabin, you can’t go wrong staying here.
Each bedroom in the chalet has its own suite. Relax in the private two person jacuzzi in the chalet master bedroom or soak in the outdoor hydrotherapy tub.

Testimonials

We had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving at the SVC. The property is a very large luxury home. Our group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers had plenty of room. The kids managed to claim the master (and Jacuzzi tub) to themselves. The other 2 bedrooms are large and have their own connecting bathrooms. The house could easily handle a larger group but is limited to 8 people because of county regulations. It has a warm feel and is decorated with native American art. We enjoyed our time in the large family room and kitchen. The great room has a huge bar and fireplace, the kids enjoyed the backgammon table. June lake is a great place to stay. Close enough to Mammoth for shopping and dinning, yet far enough from the crowds. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub nightly. - The Remys When I wake up in the morning to awe-inspiring mountain views, I can’t help but love my life! I’ve visited “the chalet” twice in the last year, in the summer and in the winter. My friends went out for some of the area’s more adventurous sports. My toddler & I enjoyed nature at the cabin’s door. There was plenty around the chalet or within a short drive to keep her happily occupied. In the summer we skipped rocks on the lake, waded in the water, and walked through alpine meadows. In winter we made snowmen and sledded in the backyard. Everyday she came in happy and exhausted. In the evenings, we all sat around the massive table, passing dishes and bottles of wine and making jokes about who would be the first one in the hot tub. - Harmony
