Testimonials

This is one of my best experience in California. I have been staying a couple of times in this mansion during the summer and the winter seasons, one time with friends and one time with family, and I can tell you that I and we all had a great great time in the chalet. We could never be bored there - the nature around and the house are just totally incredible. We did hike to lakes in the mountain from the house, bike to Mono lake, swim in June Lake,... The sky lifts are 2 minutes drive, and last winter we watched hockey players on the frozen June lake. And I am not talking about sipping a beer in the outdoor hot jacuzzi when the snow was falling at night... I spent my 40's birthday with my family from France there... - Jean-Baptiste We had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving at the SVC. The property is a very large luxury home. Our group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers had plenty of room. The kids managed to claim the master (and Jacuzzi tub) to themselves. The other 2 bedrooms are large and have their own connecting bathrooms. The house could easily handle a larger group but is limited to 8 people because of county regulations. It has a warm feel and is decorated with native American art. We enjoyed our time in the large family room and kitchen. The great room has a huge bar and fireplace, the kids enjoyed the backgammon table. June lake is a great place to stay. Close enough to Mammoth for shopping and dinning, yet far enough from the crowds. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub nightly. - The Remys
